We are excited to announce some more dates for our popular Dharawal Guided Indigenous Walks! A perfect opportunity to breathe in some fresh air, explore the natural environment of the Dharawal National Park, and gain an understanding of the Indigenous heritage of the region through the insight of an Aboriginal Discovery Ranger.
There are two opportunities to book for each date, with the first walk of the day being to the popular (and easier) O’Hare’s Lookout, with wide sweeping views of the gorge below, and plenty of opportunities to see native flora and fauna along the way.
The second walk is a more challenging trek down to the picturesque Minerva Pool, where as well as opportunities to see and experience the natural environment, you will also be given an opportunity to learn about the traditional making methods of women through taking part in a weaving activity.
Our first date for the walk is on Saturday the 8th of August with walks happening on the second Saturday of each month until November. For more information and to make a booking, click here, or call Campbelltown Visitor Information Centre on (02) 4645 4921.
