This July celebrate the history, culture and achievements of the First Nations Community at Campbelltown’s NAIDOC week celebrations.
The 2026 National NAIDOC Week theme is 5o Years of Deadly
For five decades, NAIDOC Week has celebrated the voices of our communities — steady, unapologetic, and proud. Each year, its themes have called for truth, celebrated culture, honoured resistance, and reminded the nation of who we are.
The NAIDOC journey began as a movement for recognition and rights, sparked by Indigenous communities who saw a future built on justice and equality. Over the decades, it has grown into a powerful national celebration, a testament to the enduring strength of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As we commemorate this 50-year legacy, we also look forward, honouring the next generation who will carry the torch, shaping the future with courage, insight, and deep respect for our roots.
Campbelltown is Celebrating with a Flag Raising Ceremony, March and Community Day as well as the annual Touch Football match hosted by NSW Police at Glenfield.
