Beersheba Day Breakfast and Ceremony

Join Club Menangle trackside to commemorate Beersheba Day. This event honours the seventh Light Horse Regiment involved in the historic charge on Beersheba Day, with a morning dedicated to reflection and remembrance.

Menangle Park once served as a training ground for the Australian Light Horse, where many brave young riders and their loyal Walers set off for battle, unaware of the remarkable destiny awaiting them. This breakfast event pays tribute to these courageous men and their horses, honouring their legacy.

The commemorative service will reflect on the pivotal Battle of Beersheba, emphasising the importance of preserving the history, traditions, and customs of the Light Horse Regiments for future generations.

We are honoured to have Damien Thomlinson as our guest speaker. A former Australian Commando, Paralympian, and inspiring survivor, Damien’s story of resilience and overcoming adversity is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Club Menangle proudly supports the 7th Light Horse Regiment Menangle Historical Troop. Dress Code is Business attire with medals.
