Come and visit Campbelltown, also known as Koalatown!
Campbelltown is home to the largest population of disease free Koalas in New South Wales. The Campbelltown Visitor Information Centre have a new Koala Display room showcasing our Australian icon and Koalatown. The Koala room will also have two special guests on display, Clara and Jerry. They are local treasures and are here to spread the Koalatown message.
As you walk through, learn about the history of Koalas and even how to spot one in the wild. The walls feature information on the efforts Campbelltown is making to conserve their Koala population. Plus local residents and visitors can learn how they can help to ensure their Koala’s are around for generations to come.
The display room also features many nostalgic Koala items such as mascots from Olympic and Commonwealth Games, soft toys, games, books and more.
Take a memory home from Koalatown. There are many Koala souvenirs available in the Visitor Centre. Leather purses, tea towels, bags, mugs, magnets, pencils, earrings and more.
Perhaps you’d like to donate to WIRES and Sydney Wildlife Rescue. Every person to donate to these amazing Koalatown supporters will receive some free Koalatown stickers to display proudly.
Let’s support our Koalas and Campbelltown, come on down and see for yourself.
