Campbelltown is the perfect destination for sports and recreation enthusiasts. The city boasts a wide range of facilities that enable you to stand on the sidelines and watch your team play, or participate in the action yourself.
The city is the home to Campbelltown Sports Stadium, which in 2020, will be the home of the regions own A-League team, The Macarthur Bulls. Set to commence in October 2020, this will be a game changer forthe region and will be a welcome addition to thestadium calendar of events, which is great for sports lovers.
The stadium also hosts a number of Wests Tigers home games in the NRL and will be set to host the “Pacific Test International” matches, for the third time in 2020 and again in 2022. The venue also has an internationally certified athletics track which hosts a range of state and regional athletics events, attracting athletes from across the state.
Campbelltown is also home to Club Menangle, the largest harness racing track in Australasia. Together with three golf courses, a variety of sports centres, skate parks and cycleways, Campbelltown is an ideal location to celebrate the great outdoors.
